A benefit dinner will be held Friday, July 25th at the Steamboat Grand Hotel from 6-9 pm. Dinner will include pasta, sauces, salad, bread and a cash bar. In addition to the dinner we will have an evening with special guests including Kent Eriksen from Kent Eriksen Cycles, Sunshine Kids representatives and several visiting sunshine kids as well as representatives from Prudential. A silent auction of several items and packages will be offered with 100% of the proceeds going to the Sunshine Kids organization.
Cost for the benefit dinner is $25.00 per person, with all proceeds going to the Sunshine Kids. Tickets may be purchased at active.com or by email at tourdesteamboat@springsips.com Tickets will not be for sale after Thursday June 24th due to the planning of this event.
The Sunshine Kids Foundation adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are supposed to do . . . have fun and celebrate life!
The Prudential Pasta Dinner is a great way to fuel up for the next day’s big ride as well as to meet some of your fellow riders and recipients of the benefit ride. We invite all sponsors and supporters of this great event weekend to attend as well. In addition to the dinner riders can pick up their ride packets at this location as well.
Silent Auction items include:
• Ski packages for 2 at with lodging and tickets
• Entry into the 2009 Tour de Steamboat
• A Nordic ski lesson package at Catamount
• Kent Eriksen Cycles custom items and riding kits

In addition to the auction items there is a drawing for a Custom Titanium Frame made by Kent Eriksen Cycles. Tickets are $10 or buy 10, get one free. Tickets are available at Prudential Realty located at 610 marketplace plaza, suite 100, located in the wild horse shopping center or by calling 846-9206. In addition they will be availabe at the pasta dinner and at the ride bbq. The drawing will take place at 6:30 pm live at the Post ride BBQ. The winner does not need to be present to win.
