For 20 years, Tour de Steamboat has been made possible by generous volunteers. Many have given their time for 5, 10, even 15+ years of the Tour, helping create an experience that celebrates our community’s love for cycling, local history, land conservation, and the incredible views that make Routt County so special.
Our volunteers understand that Tour de Steamboat is more than a ride. It is a day to welcome riders, support our community, and help raise funds for local nonprofit beneficiaries through an unforgettable cycling experience.
We need 70+ volunteers to make ride day a success. Whether you would like to help at an aid station, support the post-ride BBQ, assist with setup, or lend a hand leading up to the event, we would love to have you.

All volunteers receive lunch from Yampa Sandwich Co., a volunteer t-shirt, and event SWAG.
Founded in Steamboat Springs in 1999, Yampa Sandwich Co. now has eight Colorado locations, including seven along the Front Range.
Since 2005, Tour de Steamboat has given back nearly $2 million to local nonprofits. In our 21st year, we need your help to continue that giving.
